A user can define any number of extra stop records for any given Order.   These records are useful for adding extra destinations within the Moving From and Moving To range set for an Order.   Additional contact information, from an existing agent or otherwise, along with pickup and delivery information can further accentuate its usefulness to the moving company.

Common uses of an Extra Stop:

§ Temporary storage (agent assigned or not)

§ Customer request to pickup or drop off goods at a separate location

§ Transferring goods from one agent or vendor to another

Use the following procedure to define additional stops for move request.

Adding an Extra Stop

1.   Access the Mover’s Suite application,

2.   Find and open an Order,

3.   Open the Extra Stops tab,

4.   Press the Add button within the Extra Stop Information section and the Add Extra Stop dialog will appear,

5.   Enter a Stop Type of either Pickup or Delivery,

6.   Enter a unique Stop Number.  This value represents the order in which the record appears within the Extra Stop Information grid; which can be important when exporting data to a third party vendor,

7.   Enter a Date Range for the service (optional),

8.   Enter a Time Range for the service (optional),

9.   Select an Agent from the provided list if associated to the location (optional).  NOTE: Selecting an Agent will populate the Contact and Address Information automatically,

10.  Enter Contact Information for the person at the stop location including Name, Company, Phone, and Country Code (optional),

11.  Enter the required Address Information for the stop.  The Location Type setting is optional,

12.  Enter Other Phone Information (optional),

13.  Press the Save button to keep the record and to close the dialog.

Extra Stop records will be arranged by their Stop Number with those records referenced as Destination listed prior to those defined as Pickup.  The user can choose to edit the order by changing either Stop Type and/or Stop Number within the Edit Extra Stop dialog.

Another important purpose of the Stop Number is to specify which records are included as part of an order export to a third party interface.  Information on up to 50 Extra Stop records per Order can be uploaded to UniGroup, for example.
