Adding locations within a move request is quite common. Often it is desired by the customer to have goods picked up or delivered from a location that is outside of the main addresses associated to the move. The moving company will typically assess extra charges to these requests and may desire to assign the service to one of their agents. These needs and the desire to identify these stops is the foundation of the Extra Stop interface within Mover’s Suite.
This interface allows a user to quickly establish these additional stops as a standard type of “Pickup” or “Delivery”, set customer requested date and time ranges of the stops, and assign an agent of the moving company to identify their involvement.
Along with Extra Stop information, Segment data can be established further document the details of the stops. Estimated and Billed amounts can be entered for Weight, Cubic Feet, and Miles, along with additional Pack, Load, and Delivery date range data.
Extra Stop information can also be imported and exported to several third party vendors.
