Van line orders registered through SIRVA sHub can now be downloaded into Mover’s Suite.  All clients using SIRVA can take advantage of all the features of both SIRVA and Mover’s Suite.

A suggested flow of operations is listed below:

Order registration occurs in SIRVA sHub

Download the order into Mover’s Suite (option available through the Tools menu)

Process revenue and payments against the order on either system

Download the order again from SIRVA sHub to incorporate modification made into Mover’s Suite

Statement information processed on SIRVA can be imported through Payment Management

Note: If the order originated from another system, such as IGC, downloads from any external system can still overwrite the order’s data.

A special deployment package will be included to enable this functionality.  In this package is a new tool that standardizes the format of XML files entering or leaving Mover’s Suite.  The tool is Microsoft BizTalk Server and will streamline the interfacing processes offered by Mover’s Suite; increasing the efficiency of the system while decreasing the amount of time it takes to maintain file conversion operations.

More on BizTalk:

Microsoft BizTalk Server (BizTalk) is a high-level tool designed to handle multiple formatted input files.  Implementation of BizTalk will replace the translation pieces for all interfaces.  It can interact with SIRVA (sHUB), in use by Allied, NAVL and Global, as well as with the Atlas’ SUDS (Shipment Upload/Download System) system without extra coding needed on the Mover’s Suite side.  Read more about this product through the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/biztalk/default.mspx.

In addition to the behind the scenes change made in order to interface with SIRVA, Mover’s Suite has updated the application with the following features:

SIRVA – Download Request is available through the Tools menu:

When the Third Party Error Log button contains the red dot and is pressed the error log will appear containing the specific records associated to the particular record.  Note: Custom grid options are in use to filter on the particular record and a user can modify the settings.
