Pressing the Search button from the main toolbar will open the Search pane and prompt the user to enter a keyword or words to search on. The option to highlight the matching words is in the selected results is also available.
The search will return hyperlinks for the pages that have the most occurrences, or hits, of the entered keyword(s). Entering the word “advances” will return a list of all topics that contains this word. Entering the words “driver” and “advances” will yield far more results, as it looks for all three words separately. The application will place the topic hyperlink with the most hits at the top of the list. In the example in Figure 4 (below), the search result returned the topic Complete Schema Changes first in the list, this is due to this topic contain the most occurrences of the combined keywords; i.e. more “driver advances” than any other topic.

Note: Most special characters specified within the keyword search, such as a hyphen, period, and quotation marks, will be ignored.
Another useful feature designed to help a user locate a topic quickly is the Index. The Index is a complete listing of every topic built into the Online Help utility. The listing is in alphabetic order and Mover’s Suite has named the topics by including the subject first followed by the general classification. In the illustration in Figure 5 (below), all the topics created specifically for Driver Advances appear together; making it easy for the user to find them all.
