Detail records can only be added or deleted from a manual batch and are used to describe the payments and charges contained within the manually added batch.
Important: Details can only be added or deleted for a manual batch if the Status is Manual or Open. Avoid pressing the Process or Apply keys before finishing the detail definitions for a manual batch.
Adding details to a manual batch
1. In MoversSuite,
2. Access Payment Management,
3. Select a manual batch from the Batch Management data grid,
4. Select the Detail Processing tab or press the Process button,
5. Press Add to access the Add Wizard dialog,

6. If the item is related to an order or a claim, then press Find to associate the detail record to an order or claim record. Refer to the Find topic for more information,
7. Enter a text Description for the detail item,
8. Enter an Amount for the item. Negative amounts are preceded with a hyphen (“-“). Refer to the Payment Code Definitions section for details on entering the correct amount. The total of the positive and negative transaction amounts will need to equal the amount entered for the Control Amount in the Statement Detail for the batch as a whole. Use the Deposit Statement Report to verify amounts,
9. Select a Branch of the agency associated to this detail item,
10. Select a Division from the available list, if needed,
11. Select a Payment Code as either Refer to the Payment Code Definitions section for details on entering the correct code,
Example: To create a chargeback detail record, enter the amount of the chargeback as a negative Amount (the credit amount will show in red colored font) and select a Payment Code of “M,”
12. Press Done to add the item to the manual
batch or press the next button (
) to define another detail item,
13. Repeat Steps 4 through 12 to add more items to the batch. Items added to the batch will appear within the Detail Processing data grid.
With all necessary batch details created, a user can begin applying payments and charges.
Removing details from a manual batch
1. In MoversSuite,
2. Access Payment Management,
3. Select a manual batch from the Batch Management data grid,
4. Select the Detail Processing tab or press the Process button,
5. Select a record from the Detail Processing data grid,
6. Press the Delete button and a warning confirmation will appear,

7. Press Yes to permanently remove the detail record. Once the button is pressed, the dialog will close and record will be removed from the data grid,
8. Repeat Steps 4 through 7 to remove other detail records.
