The Quote System allows a user to define any number of proposed charges for services, quickly and easily. A user can establish quote records within the Quote tab and link them to financials within the Manage Quote interface from any MoversSuite module. Once the quote has been accepted it can be imported into Revenue entry as standard revenue items or third-party payables.
Key features of the Quotes system:
• Any number of quotes can be defined for any type of MoversSuite order request
• Line item details for each quote are managed in a separate interface and can be imported directly into Revenue Entry as standard revenue items or as third-party payables
• Quote records become permanent once they have been imported into Revenue Entry
• Unique quote numbers are automatically generated by the application
• A copy feature allows a user to create duplicate quotes which can allow a moving company to provide multiple quotes to a shipper with slight variations between each
• Financial details of a quote can be grouped together into a single line item to display in formatted output
• Access to Quote functionality is controlled through security module assignment
• Custom, formatted quote output can be generated directly from within the Quote interface
