Due dates can be setup to be automatically computed based on dependency dates or they can be manually set. When based on dependency dates the application will compute the due date of task items automatically from key dates set for the order. These dates and the MoversSuite location of the fields associated to them are described in detail within the Task Dependency Dates section.
Changes to the dependency dates will automatically update the due date of a task if the task has not been marked as completed or as not-applicable.
The option to set the due date of task item as either manual or automatically based on a dependency date is available in both the Add Task and Copy Task functions.

Selecting the Use Dependency Date option will activate the Dependency Date selector, Due, and Day(s) options. When a selection is made using the Dependency Date, the due date of the action item will be based on what is entered for the selected date. For example, to have the action item be due exactly on what is set for the load date, then a user will select “Load Date” for the Dependency Date and enter “0” for the Due field; when Due is set to “0” the Day(s) setting is ignored. The application will check the Move Information > Load Date field and set the task due date accordingly. If the Load Date changes, then the task due date will be updated as well unless the task has been marked as completed or not applicable.
