Functions available to Tasks users are listed in the table below.  Note: Not all functions are available in each of the Tasks tab or Tasks Workflow.

 

Tasks Function

Description

Task Complete

 

Marks the task as being completed.  Sets the Date Completed to the current day and sets the Completed By to the MoversSuite user that performed the action.

In the Tasks tab, a checkmark () will be set in the Complete column when the task has been completed.

Tasks marked as complete can only be viewed through the Tasks tab for the order when the Show All option is on.

Not Applicable

Marks the tasks as not applicable and sets the Not Applicable Date to the current day and sets the Not Applicable User field to the MoversSuite user that performed the action. 

In the Tasks tab, a checkmark () will be set in the N/A column when the task has been marked not applicable.

Note:  N/A, Not Applicable User, and Not Applicable Date are only visible within the Tasks tab data grid of an order record.

Tasks marked as not applicable can only be viewed through the Tasks tab of the order record when the Show All option is on.

Change Task Due Date

Opens the Change Task Due Date dialog allowing a user to generate a different due date.  See Changing a Task Due Date for more information.

Add Task

Opens the Add Task dialog allowing for a new task to be defined under the same identifier as that of the selected record.  See Adding Task Items for more information.

Copy Tasks

Opens the Add Task dialog allowing a user to generate a new task based on the selected task.  When this option is selected, all fields within the Add Task will default to the values set for the task being copied.  See Adding Task Items for more information. This option is useful for defining a second request based on a modified version of a prior order requirement

Refresh Tasks

Refreshes the data grid with the latest data from the database.

Add Note

Opens the Add Note dialog allowing a user to attach a note to the selected order record.

Open Order

Available in the Tasks > Workflow only.  Opens Order Information for the selected record.  Note: User must have appropriate security access to the Order Information module to perform this function.

Show All

Only available in the Tasks tab of an order record.  Allows a user to see all tasks associated to a particular order including those marked as complete and not applicable.
