Quotes can be generated from any location within MoversSuite by accessing the Quotes tab.
Updating rating information on a Quote record
Note: This procedure assumes that the user has an established order with a quote record and that the user is attempting to have rating information pulled automatically by the application.
1. Access the MoversSuite application,
2. Find and select an order within the Order Information, Special Services, International, or Revenue Entry modules,
3. Open the Billing Information tab and verify that the Tariff/Rate field contains a Rate Plan value that has been defined to retrieve rating information. For Revenue Entry, the Tariff/Rate field is located within the Order Information tab,
4. Open the Quote tab and select a record from the Quote Details section and press Edit, or press New to create one. The Manage Quote dialog will appear,
5. Press Edit within the Manage Quote dialog, or press Add to define a new Quote. The Add or Edit Quote dialog will appear,

6. Select the Item (Code) from the drop-down menu. If the Tariff/Rate (Rate Plan) and Item combination have been set up to automatically retrieve data, then the Rate Type and Rate fields will be populated once the Item is set (see Automatic Rating Information Process section for more information),
7. Enter Quantity values as needed. These fields are dynamically based on the selected Rate Type and are multiplied by the Rate to compute the Charge,
8. Enter other quote information as needed,
9. Press OK to keep the changes or add the quote item to the database.
