Exporting Data Grid Information

A great feature of the data grid is the ability to send information directly to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to be processed further or to a HTML file which can then be rendered and viewed through a web browser.

Currently, the export option is available through Claims (main data grid) and through AR Credit & Collections

The data available within the main grid will be what is included in the exported output.  Further, any customization made to the display will also be reflected in the output.  Filtering, grouping, sorting, etc. will all persist.  Refer to the Data Grid Features for details customizing the data grid.

Whichever options is selected, the separate output window will remain open and a user can refer back to it as they continue to work within the MoversSuite application.

All the features available through Microsoft Excel and the user’s default web browser to save, print, etc. will be available within for the output.

Files generated in either format are automatically saved to a local directory.  The name of the file will appear in the title and the Save As feature of either program (File > Save As) can be used to save the file to another name and/or location.

As the image in Figure 24 (below) depicts, the default file name that the output is saved under is “mss” followed by a sequential number based on the count of existing files containing the same first three characters.
