Description

Branch Setup

Create common groups of branches to be worked on collectively.  Associating branches to the same Dispatching Common View value will link them together so that when a single branch is selected through the Service Branch field in Local Dispatch services for all linked branches will be visible.

Difficulty Factor Setup

Define factors to be used to adjust the difficulty of a service assignment. 

Dispatch Status Setup

Define status values that can be assigned through the Dispatch Center to services.  The status values can also be used to send email updates to key personnel (see Email Options Settings for details).

Equipment Setup

Assignable resources must be defined within this setup area.

Personnel Setup for Local Dispatch

Define key personnel including dispatchers, coordinators, crew members, etc.

Safety Systems

Establish crew and equipment safety records.

Service Type Setup

Define services to be available locally and dispatched through Local Services. 

System File Setup

Many of the constants used when calculating hours needed for crew assignments for local services are defined in the Local Service Settings section in the System File.
