The Notes tab is used to manage all notes associated to an order. Notes can be added to from the main data grid and they can be appended to through the Note screen (accessible by double-clicking the note record or utilizing the right-mouse click option).

Records listed in the data grid have several options available through a right-mouse click. See Right-Mouse Click Options in Data Grids for more information.

The fields and functions available within the Notes tab are described in the table below.

Add Notes |
Opens the Add Note screen allowing the user to define a new order note. |

Order Number |
MoversSuite identification number assigned to the order. |
|
Shipper |
The Last Name/Company Name followed by the First Name/MI of the shipper set through the Name, Address, Phone tab. |

First Data Row |
|

Subject |
The title given to the note record. |
|
Type of Note |
Displays the note type assigned to the record. The type determines how the note record will be utilized. When exporting to a third party application it is important that the note type matches a supported external code. See Note Type Setup for details. |

Last Entry Date |
Date that the note was last updated on. |
|
Last Entry By |
MoversSuite user that last modified or created the note. |
|
Invoices |
Displays the invoice number(s) associated to the note through AR Credit & Collections. |
|
Second Data Row |
|
|
User |
Displays the name of the MoversSuite user that created or appended the note. |
|
Date |
Date that the note was created on or appended to on. |
|
Scope |
Flag indicating whether the note is visible through the Customer Web Portal (Public) or not (Private). |
