The Quote tab is available from within all MoversSuite modules and is designed to allow a user to define multiple quote records per order each of which can contain multiple line items (Quote Details). Further, all details assigned to a quote can be grouped together to provide a generalized description in formatted quote output.

The functions available to Quote tab users are described in the table below.

Select from a list of existing quotes for the open order.

The drop-down menu lists all quotes belonging to the order and include the following data columns that a user can sort the menu by: Number – MoversSuite quote number Created – Date that the quote was created on Created By – MoversSuite user that created the quote

New |
Opens the Manage Quote screen displaying New in the screen title. |

Edit |
Opens the Manage Quote screen displaying the selected quote number in the screen title. Non-imported records can be edited and deleted. Use Edit to update the Status of a quote. |

Copy |
This option will create a duplicate of the selected quote and automatically add it to the list of quotes for the open record. This option is useful when there are quite a number of similar quotes that differ only slightly among each other. The application will return a confirmation prompt upon creation of the new quote.

The new quote will automatically display within the Quote Details data grid and the new number will be visible within the Quote selector. The Status of the quote will be set to Copy which can be updated through the Edit function. |

Reports/Letters |
Opens a menu of documents defined to be rendered as a report or a letter. Documents appearing within this folder must be defined with a System ID of QUOT and must be a report type of Letter or Reporting Services Report. See System ID Setting and Report Type Setting for more information. The Quote Form is available as a default report. |
The Status value is defined within Manage Quote. All other fields displaying within the Quote tab are described within the Add Quote section.
