The Send to Dispatch dialog is used to confirm request(s) being sent do Local Dispatch and to add notes to the services that can be viewed by dispatchers.

Note:
All services appearing in the Send to Dispatch dialog will be included in the send.
The Send to Dispatch dialog will open when one or more services are selected and the Send To Dispatch button is pressed.

The fields and functions within the Send to Dispatch dialog are described in the table below.

This field displays the requested service date. |

This field displays the name of the requested service. |

Crew |
Displays the anticipated number of crew members estimated or requested to perform the service. |

Hrs/Man |
Displays the calculated number of hours needed per crew member to perform the scheduled task. |

Attach Note… |
Opens a dialog prompting the user to enter a note (up to 250 characters) to be attached to the service(s) that will be available to dispatchers.

The note will be available
through the Note field within the Dispatch Center data grid. The subject
of the note is set to Dispatch Note. The note will also
appear on the standard Work Ticket
Report with a label of Service Note. The note length is limited to 250. If more information is needed for the service then it is suggested to perform the Send multiple times while the service is still in an Idle or Pending state. When a Send is performed multiple times only the latest send will be the service available to dispatch, however, all the notes from each send will be attached. Dispatch notes cannot be deleted.
Tip: If notes are different for each service they should be attached and sent under each separate service request. |

Send |
Sends the selected service(s) to Requested Services to be cleared for dispatching. Note: Only one record will appear highlighted within the services listing, however all records displayed will be sent. |

Cancel |
This function closes the screen without sending the request. |
