In each of the Safety tabs for Personnel and Equipment, there is the ability to log an event.  These logs are a permanent record against the item and cannot be deleted.  They can be a great way of keeping track of servicing and physical exams, for example.

 

Log an Event within Administration

1.   Access the MoversSuite Administration - web,

2.   Access the Safety tab within either Move Setup > Equipment or within User Setup > Personnel,

3.   Find and selection a piece of Equipment or an Employee from the available within the drop-down list,

4.   Press the Log Event button and the Log an Event dialog will appear,

Note: A user can access the Log Event functionality without having to press the Edit beforehand.

5.   Enter the date that the event occurred as the Event Date,

6.   Select Event Type from the drop-down list.  The values for this option is defined within Event Type Setup,

7.   Enter a text description of the event within the box containing “Enter a description of the event”,

8.   Press the Save button to add the entry to the permanent record.

 

All logged events will be associated to a record indefinitely and are viewable through the Local and Long Distance Dispatch, the MoversSuite Administration, and through reports.
