The Local Dispatch interface contains two assignment grids, one for Crew and the other for Equipment.  Within each grid, a user can select a record using a right-mouse click to display and, possibly, access the View Safety Information and Log Safety Event options.

Selecting the View Safety Information will activate a dialog where all the information assigned to a particular record will be displayed.

Viewing safety information within Local Dispatch

1.    Access the MoversSuite application,

2.    Open the Local Dispatch interface,

3.    Right-mouse click on a particular crew or equipment record from either assignment grid and the safety options will appear,

4.    Select the View Safety Information option to access the Safety Information window,

5.    Press OK to close the Safety Information window.

 

When safety events occur, a dispatcher can immediately log them against crew members and equipment from within Local Dispatch.

 

Logging Safety Events from Local Dispatch

1.    Access the MoversSuite application,

2.    Open the Local Dispatch interface,

3.    Right-mouse click on a particular crew or equipment record from either assignment grid and the safety options will appear,

4.    Select the Log Safety Event option and the Log Safety Event dialog box will appear,

Note:  A user can also access the Log Safety Event screen through the Log Event button in View Safety Information window.

5.    Enter the Date that the event occurred,

6.    Select a Type from the drop-down list.  This options are defined within Event Type Setup,

7.    Enter a Description for the event,

8.    Press the Save button to log the safety event,

9.    Press OK to close the Safety Information window.

 

The logged event will become part of the permanent record for the equipment or crew member and will display within the Safety Information screen as well as on reports.
