Initially, the data in the Tasks Work Flow grid will be based on a Task User by day search for the specified Date. All tasks displaying in the view grid will have a Due Date that has expired or is due on the Date specified, which can be set to any date. Only tasks that have expired based on the current system date will display in red font.

Figure 9: View Tasks By options
The following table describes the View Tasks By options.
|
Work Flow View Options |
Description |
|
View Tasks By |
Select Task User by day to create a view of tasks for a selected Task User for a particular Date. Select Task Group by day to create a view of tasks for a selected Task Group for a particular Date. Select Entire Task Group to list all tasks associated to the selected Task Group. Important: The Entire Task Group option will include ALL tasks associated to the selected group. The two “by day” options WILL NOT include completed tasks or other tasks that have no due date set. |
|
Date |
By default the current system date will be displayed and used to filter data by. It can be set to any date and will filter the results by including any task that is due for that day or that is past due on that date. |
|
Task User |
Select a user from the list of those available. Only tasks associated to the person responsible for completing the tasks will be displayed. The drop-down list will include the user name and Labor Type. Note: Users defined with multiple personnel records for different roles (labor types) will appear multiple times within the Task User selector.

Task Group |
All tasks associated to a particular group will be displayed. |
The Tasks screen allows a user to customize their display and will save several settings upon exit; the settings will be available the next time the user logs in.
Tasks settings saved upon MoversSuite exit:
• View Task By will be set to Task User by day
• Date will be the current system date
• Task User will be set to the last one accessed
• Grid customization including column order, grouping, and sorting
Additionally, all settings will be saved during a session, therefore a user can navigate away from the Tasks screen and when they return to it they will see the screen exactly as it was prior to leaving. In fact, a user should perform a Refresh Tasks function to ensure that the data in the grid is up-to-date.
Grid customization includes the use of the full-functioning grid, which is beneficial for refining search results. Read more about working with data grids within the Data Grids topic.
